CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Tuesday, December 10, 2024, was the final Tuesday Night Bible Study Class for 2024. All Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
- Covenant Life Cathedral’s 2024 Christmas Live Stage Play, “Bind Us Together”, written, directed and produced by D’ne’ Knighton, CLC’s Drama & Arts Ministry Department Head, will be held on Sunday morning, December 15, 2024, beginning promptly at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. This FREE Play is a beautiful story of family love, unity, and forgiveness. The devil comes in and attempts to destroy families and their foundations; however, we must bind ourselves together with peace, even in the midst of tragedy. Directly following the Play, CLC’s Culinary Ministry will be hosting our FREE Dine-In Christmas Luncheon in the Family Life Center consisting with heavy Horsd’oeuvres.
- Everyone is cordially invited to a Special Divine Appointment Sunday Service on Sunday Morning, December 29th, beginning at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. You definitely do not want to miss this Service. Because of the type of Service this may be, the recommended dress is casual. We are expecting the Spirit of God to show up in a mighty way.
- Covenant Life Cathedral & Community Church of God will be co-hosting a Combined Watch Night Service/New Year’s Eve Celebration at Community Church of God, 5555 Bethesda Ave., Macon GA 31206, on Tuesday Night, December 31st, beginning at 10:30 PM. The doors will open that night at 10:00 PM. CLC’s very own Pastor Bob Hunnicutt will be the keynote speaker. Our Praise & Worship Team, Drama & Arts Ministry (Dancers ) & Clergy Members will be ministering during that service in music, dance and prayer. Breakfast will be served following the Service.
- Pastor Bob Hunnicutt cordially invites everyone to join the Covenant Life Cathedral Church Family as we step into 2025 with an intentional time of 21-days of corporate prayer and fasting. Our 2025 "21-days of Corporate Prayer & Fasting Initiative” is scheduled to begin 12:01 AM on Monday, January 6th and end at midnight on Sunday, January 26, 2025. The 2025 theme is “FOCUS”. When we give God our first through fasting, prayer and giving at the beginning of the year, we set the course for the entire year that follows. During this time of prayer and fasting, trust that God is waiting for each of us with promises abundantly above and beyond what we could ask or imagine. Biblical fasting is a spiritual discipline for breakthrough and requires strength - strength which we can only receive from God. Fasting requires reasonable precautions. You will need to consult your physician prior to beginning your fast, especially if you have any health concerns, taking any medication or have a chronic condition, or are pregnant or nursing.
